Florida Utility Solutions, Inc., a proud member of the USA Water family of companies, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver / Lift Station Maintenance Technician to join our Operations team in the Florida Keys. This unique role combines commercial driving with hands-on maintenance of critical wastewater infrastructure. What You’ll Do

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles and equipment to transport materials, equipment, and personnel to job sites throughout the Florida Keys.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on wastewater lift stations and collection system equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, piping, and related mechanical components.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including lift station failures, sewer backups, and storm recovery efforts.
• Operate vacuum trucks, trailers, and other specialized utility equipment as needed.
• Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs before they become operational issues.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections, equipment logs, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency utility response, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating commercial trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Mechanical experience with pumps, motors, lift stations, wastewater collection systems, or similar industrial equipment preferred.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and experience with control panels is a plus.
• Knowledge of wastewater collection systems or utility maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
